Grand Unveiling of the Martin Link Collection
Join Zollinger Library in celebrating the grand unveiling of the Martin Link Collection of books at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11. The late Martin Link, who was a historian and ×îÐÂÂ鶹Դ´allup instructor, collected many books throughout his life with particular interest in history and culture. Thanks to his family, Zollinger Library’s collection now features historical books about the Old West, the Civil War, Native American culture, and more. Join the library in celebrating Link’s legacy of knowledge and learning by dedicating this new section of books to his memory. A small reception will follow.
AI and Medical Billing and Coding
Join Zollinger Library for a special presentation by ×îÐÂÂ鶹Դ´allup instructor Roseanna McGinn in the atrium at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12. McGinn will speak about how artificial intelligence and medical billing and coding has changed in the industry worldwide. This will include a summary of survey findings from IFHIMA, a nonprofit health information management organization. Join the conversation to see how AI is changing the medical field and ask questions.
Turkey Hunt/Catch
Wild Turkeys have invaded Zollinger Library. We need your help finding the turkeys and restoring calmness to the library. From Monday, Nov. 17, to Wednesday, Nov. 26, join the hunt by either finding the hidden turkeys in the library or by completing the online turkey hunt game. Drop in the library anytime during the hunt and get your hunting license from the front desk to catch the turkeys.
